We’re Hosting the 2 June Philosophers’ Carnival

As regular readers will know, we’re big fans of blog carnivals, which offer a convenient way to keep up with a broad spectrum of blogs on specialist subjects. The next Philosophers’ Carnival will be hosted here at Big Ideas.

If you’ve written or read a recent, substantial blog post with a philosophical angle you can recommend it for inclusion here. We’re particularly interested in hearing your views about philosophy outside the university — amateur or grass-roots philosophical enterprises, philosophy in schools and so on. But we’ll also give an overview of interesting philosophical posts from around the — ahem — blogosphere, as is the tradition with these things.

To give you an idea of it, you can look at the current carnival over at Possibly Philosophy. You don’t have to be an academic philosopher to be included, and the post you send can be yours or someone else’s. Send us interesting, stimulating, argumentative or informative things and we’ll be indecorously grateful.
