Rich’s Oulipo Laboratory

This Sunday, 30 August, Rich Cochrane will be running a highly interactive session on Oulipo techniques for writers at the Treehouse Gallery in Regent’s Park. He’ll encourage participants to experiment with some classic surrealist and Oulipean ideas, create a ‘pataphysical encyclopaedia, solve literary puzzles and write collaborative texts. It’s suitable for all kinds of writers with all levels of experience, and we’ll be working in a spirit of supportive fun and experimentation. Hopefully you’ll come away with some new ways to get past the ruts and blocks that affect all writers from time to time.

The laboratory will run from 5:30pm til 7:00pm. If you fancy 90 minutes of creative fun then register on the Treehouse Gallery’s website or just turn up on the day.  And, as always, it’s free.
