An Ackroydian pub crawl

Back by popular demand, Robert Kingham is reprising his London pub crawl inspired by the writings of Peter Ackroyd on 24 October.
417419674_78d1a717e8Starting in Clerkenwell at 1 p.m. and finishing in St. Giles at about 9 p.m., it’s a walking tour that takes in a wealth of London’s history, from plague pits to Victorian slums, and introduces us to all manner of characters, including Daniel Defoe, Old Mother Red Cap, Dr. Johnson’s cat and the Tall Dutchwoman.

This is a brilliant day out and it’s free, too, apart from the beer. If you want to secure a space on the walk then contact me and I’ll forward your email to Robert.
