Align is an hallucinogenic lecture on London history, prehistory, modernity and geography in words, pictures, music and performance. The whole event is immersive, informative, speculative, alarming, engaging, confusing, contentious and fun.

Full details are on the Align website, including a 6-minute YouTube trailer. To book a ticket, visit the Bridewell Theatre.

Coming up in 2010

We’ve got some great speakers and topics scheduled for 2010. The calendar is filling up fast and here’s a taste of what we’ve got planned.

Prof Tim Luckhurst will be examining the future of news, Dr Mark Vernon will be asking whether there is an art to living, Prof John Worrall will be discussing certainty in science and Dr Tim Stanley will be looking at the role of religion in US political life.

In addition, Prof Quentin Skinner and Dr Jonathan White have both agreed to come and speak to us and more details will follow nearer the time.
