Big Ideas is an ongoing series of events. The main one happens monthly, upstairs at The Wheatsheaf just off Oxford St in the West End of London. We run or help run other one-off events, occasionally podcast and here we host a number of blogs run by members of the Big Ideas team and invited speakers.

Nathan CharltonNathan (email, blog, Twitter) organises and presents at Big Ideas. He is writing a book on European urbanism and citizenship. His interests span history, philosophy, culture and technology. |
Rich CochraneRich (email, blog, Twitter) is a writer and educator. He’s interested in mathematics, philosophy, paradoxes and puzzles and the history of ideas. |

Danny BirchallDanny (email, Twitter) programmes Big Picture. His interests include cinema, literature, museums, history and politics. |
Clare ChurlyClare (email) helps organise and run the events and spreads the word about them. She’s interested in fiction, book publishing and intellectual property. |

Bobbie MillsBobbie is responsible for producing Big Ideas social media and email newsletters. She is reading European Social and Political Studies with French and International Relations at UCL. |
