Pressure

To celebrate Black History month, we screen Pressure, the first feature film directed by a black British filmmaker, and shot in West London, right on the doorstep of the Paradise. Co-written by Sam Selvon (The Lonely Londoners), Horace Ove’s film tangles with the politics of racism and black liberation, seen through the eyes of a young black teenager, Anthony, who discovers that Britain might not have all to offer him that he thought.
